If you plan to file an extension for your individual income tax return, remember that you still need to pay the tax you think you’ll owe for 2006 (and also make your first 2007 estimated tax payment).    

The IRS tax day of April 15th actually falls on April 17th this year, and it has something for everyone — individuals, partnerships, and corporations – so if you’re not sure what to do, check with your tax preparer or the IRS tax calendar.
